Reporting content or behaviour
Every listing, meet and profile in APEX has a ⋯ button. Tap it to report the content or block the person behind it.
- Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. Content reported by several different people is hidden automatically while we look at it.
- Blocking is immediate. A blocked person can't see you, find you on the map, or contact you — and you won't see them. They are not told.
- You can undo a block any time in Settings → Blocked accounts.
If you can't reach the in-app report button — for example the account has already been removed — email support@apexdriving.app with the handle and what happened.
Community guidelines
APEX is for people who love driving. These are the rules, and we enforce them.
Not allowed
- Street racing, takeovers, or organising either. Meets that turn out to be races get removed and the host loses their account.
- Encouraging dangerous driving — speed challenges, "keep up" dares, anything that treats a public road as a track.
- Harassment, threats, hate speech, or targeting anyone based on who they are.
- Sexual content, or using APEX to arrange anything sexual.
- Stolen vehicles or parts, counterfeit parts, or listings you have no right to sell.
- Scams — fake listings, deposit fraud, off-platform payment tricks.
- Impersonating another person, shop, or brand.
- Tracking or following someone who hasn't agreed to it.
What happens when you break them
Depending on severity: content removed, features restricted, or the account permanently closed. Anything involving a credible threat, a minor, or stolen property goes to the authorities.
Driving safely with APEX
- Set up before you move. Choose your route and start the drive while parked, hand the phone to a passenger, or use CarPlay.
- APEX is not a scoreboard. We deliberately don't record top speeds, rank drivers, or time routes. There's nothing to win.
- Driving together isn't racing. Never speed or run a light to keep up. If you're separated, APEX will still get you both there.
- Obey every limit and every sign. No feature in APEX is a reason not to.
Your account
Deleting your account
In the app: Settings → Delete my account. This permanently erases your profile, garage, saved drives, crew, meets, RSVPs and listings — from our servers and from your phone. It can't be undone.
Subscriptions are billed by Apple and are not cancelled by deleting your account. Cancel separately in your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
Getting your data
Email privacy@apexdriving.app from your account's email address and we'll send you a copy within 30 days.
Subscriptions and refunds
APEX Pro and the Founder's Club are purchased through Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple, not us — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Manage or cancel a subscription in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone.
To restore a purchase on a new phone: Settings → Membership → Restore purchases.
Common questions
My friends don't appear on the map
Both of you need to have added each other, both need APEX open, and both need location sharing on (Settings → Share my live location while driving). APEX never shows people who haven't agreed to share with you.
Why does APEX need my location?
To show your position on the map, route you somewhere, find meets near you, and share your position with the crew you've chosen. Location is used only while the app is open — APEX does not track you in the background.
Can I stop APEX saving my drives?
Yes — Settings → Drive recording → Save my drives. Turn it off and no routes are recorded. Drives are stored on your phone, not uploaded.
I found a bug
Email support@apexdriving.app with your iPhone model, your iOS version, and what you were doing. Screenshots help a lot.
